Hertfordshire can ‘win business gold’
Registration is open for the FREE ‘Win Business Gold’ business breakfast on Friday 27 January at The Holiday Inn, Elstree, Borehamwood.
The event is the latest in an award winning series of events arranged by Hertfordshire is Ready for Winners, the county’s official partnership supporting the delivery of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Business Breakfast event enables delegates to enjoy a cooked breakfast, hear about London 2012 contract opportunities, meet an Olympic medallist and local young talented athletes, find out about Hertfordshire’s Olympic venue - the Lee Valley White Water Centre, and network with other local business people.
Olympian Mark Richardson, who won a bronze medal in Barcelona (1992) and silver in Atlanta (1996) both in the 4x400m relay, combined with our other speakers will be inspiring local businesses to get themselves ready for the London 2012 Games.
This business breakfast also includes a presentation from Deloitte on business preparedness, covering everything from travel disruption, consumer demand and staff unavailability.
Chairman of the Hertfordshire is Ready for Winners Board, Derrick Ashley, said, “Hertfordshire is still in pole position in the region for businesses signed up to CompeteFor. For those local businesses thinking that the Olympics won’t affect them this event is a must attend, with inspiring speakers to offer help and advice. Now that 2012 is here it really is the time for Hertfordshire businesses to grab the opportunities that the Olympics is bringing to the county.”
These free events are very popular so businesses are advised to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
