Im really pleased to see this website - there is so much negativity about Oxhey on the web. Im tired of reading people's nasty comments about Oxhey and it is so nice to see a website dedicated to our area that doesn't call us Chav central. I love living here. Well done.

so true, when I tell people I live in Oxhey they get all snotty - what exactly is wrong with living here, nothing that I can see, surrounded by beautiful woods and parks. I've never had a problem with the kids either.

I moved to South Oxhey from Borehamwood and I can say that I have found it to be a quite, friendly place to live and have never had any problems with kids or noisy neighbours, much better than Borehamwood. Would have liked the old Woolworths store to have been a Iceland or a sainburys local rather than a Nisa, still cant have it all!
